Our Purpose

At Coffee for a Cause, our mission is to pour into three essential cups: children, canines, and community. We believe meaningful change begins with small, everyday actions—like sharing a cup of coffee—and grows into lasting impact when communities unite. By supporting trusted organizations within these pillars, we help children thrive, advocate for animal welfare, and strengthen the places we call home. With every cup poured and every dollar raised, we’re fueling hope, creating impact, and building a brighter, more compassionate future for all.

Created by Alex Tchekmeian, Founder & President of Foxtail Coffee, Coffee for a Cause is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) committed to giving back through the power of coffee and community.

Our goal is to improve lives by investing in causes that matter most. From helping children overcome adversity, to supporting canine welfare and adoption, to funding programs that bring communities together, we partner with mission-driven organizations to make a real difference. Together, we raise critical funds, build awareness, and unite passionate people around purpose-driven programs.

Starting November 1 through December 31, when you support our Strong Coffee, Stronger Kids Campaign, you’re helping Foxtail Coffee and the Coffee for a Cause Foundation support kids right here in our community. Even a dollar makes a difference! Donations can be made online, in stores and in the Foxtail Mobile App.
