Our Purpose
At Coffee for a Cause, our mission is to pour into three essential cups: children, canines, and community. We believe meaningful change begins with small, everyday actions—like sharing a cup of coffee—and grows into lasting impact when communities unite. By supporting trusted organizations within these pillars, we help children thrive, advocate for animal welfare, and strengthen the places we call home. With every cup poured and every dollar raised, we’re fueling hope, creating impact, and building a brighter, more compassionate future for all.
Created by Alex Tchekmeian, Founder & President of Foxtail Coffee, Coffee for a Cause is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) committed to giving back through the power of coffee and community.
Our goal is to improve lives by investing in causes that matter most. From helping children overcome adversity, to supporting canine welfare and adoption, to funding programs that bring communities together, we partner with mission-driven organizations to make a real difference. Together, we raise critical funds, build awareness, and unite passionate people around purpose-driven programs.

At Coffee for a Cause, our mission is to pour into three essential cups: children, canines, and community. Throughout the year, we bring this mission to life through in-store donation campaigns across Foxtail locations, each intentionally designed to support one of these focus areas.

One Cup at a Time.
Communities in Bloom Campaign
From March 9 through May 1, all Foxtail locations invite guests to round up their purchases at the register for our Communities in Bloom campaign. With funds raised during this campaign, CFAC will select nonprofit organizations and help fund community-based projects focused on growth, connection, and positive impact in the communities that Foxtail Coffee serves.

Strong Coffee, Stronger Kids Campaign
This campaign has concluded for 2025 and will take place again in the Fall of 2026.
The support we received for the Strong Coffee, Stronger Kids Campaign helped Foxtail Coffee and the Coffee for a Cause Foundation support kids right here in our community.
The Vision
Our vision is to create a world where compassion fuels opportunity—for children, canines, and communities alike. We believe access to care, safety, support, and growth should never be privileges, but rights shared by all. Whether it’s a child overcoming adversity, a dog in need of rescue, or a neighborhood striving to thrive, we are here to stand in the gap.
We do this by partnering with trusted organizations, funding essential programs, and sharing the stories that inspire change. From raising critical dollars for pediatric care and research, to supporting animal welfare initiatives, to launching community-driven projects, every effort we champion is rooted in empathy, accountability, and measurable impact.
Every coffee sold, every event hosted, and every dollar donated is part of a larger movement—one that turns everyday routines into extraordinary acts of hope.
